The children of this family have unusually thick hair from birth.

Babies are typically born without hair on their heads or with very little hair. Yet, there is a family in Britain whose newborns have an overabundance of hair. The Shelton family appears to be the most typical neighbor at first impression. Yet they quickly rose to fame throughout the British Isles as well as in their homeland.

George and Stanley, Shelton’s two kids, were born with thick, long hair on their heads, which is a very unique characteristic. The physicians had to shave George, the oldest son, after he was born. The baby’s hair was long enough to reach the tip of his nose and totally hid his eyes. The most intriguing aspect, though, was how quickly his hair was growing. George had three hair cuts in the first six months of his life.

The child’s haircut was the only thing that really bothered him. The barber was so shocked when the child arrived to the barbershop for the first time that he wished to snap his picture. Never before had he seen a kid with such long hair. George’s brother was born when he was four years old. And what do you think? Little Stanley had a lot of hair as well.

«My youngster doesn’t often wear a cap. He can’t balance on his head, his mother teases. Experts claim that babies’ hair like this is due to genetics. because the parents’ thick, swiftly growing hair is a common trait.
