Mother Becomes Pregnant With Triplets Just Weeks After Giving Birth

Soon after giving birth, the mother becomes pregnant with triplets.

Sarah Ward, age 28, gave birth to triplets just weeks after her first child. They are expected to arrive when her son Fred is only nine months old.

Sarah Ward, age 28, resides with her postal worker companion, Benn Smith. Shortly after beginning their relationship in September 2011, the couple began attempting to conceive a child. As they had been companions for years, there seemed to be little reason to delay starting the family they both desired. In September 2012, after a year of infertility, she scheduled an appointment with her primary care physician out of concern that something was amiss. The week before her appointment, however, she became expectant with her first son.

Within weeks of giving birth to her first child, she gave birth to triplets. They are expected to arrive when her son Fred is only nine months old.

She stated, “I was s.” I looked at the blue line on the stick and then at my minuscule child and thought to myself, “This cannot be happening.” Being pregnant so shortly after the birth of our child was a real shock. It will be insanity to have four infants under the age of one, but I cannot wait to hold them in my arms. We feel so fortunate.

When Ms. Ward is 34 weeks pregnant, the infants will be delivered in nine weeks at the Medway Maritime Hospital in Kent. Initially, the Crayford couple was informed they were expecting three non-identical sons, but subsequent scans revealed one of the babies was a girl. Their sons are Reggie and Stanley, and their daughter is Charley. A family will be finished. That means she would have had four children in less than a year.

In the weeks that followed, the couple was advised that the triplets’ significant risk of s F tu birth necessitated consideration of an abortion. However they declined. Mr. Smith states, “There was no way we could have chosen one child to.” It would have been impossible to accomplish. We already adored all of them.

With consistent observation, Ms. Ward’s pregnancy progressed normally. She states, “I appeared to be full-term at 14 weeks, and sometimes I feel like I’m about to ust. When she is 34 weeks pregnant, doctors plan to deliver the twins within nine weeks.

‘It will be very crowded with four infants in a one-bedroom home until we move, and I am disappointed that they cannot provide us with a larger residence sooner. But with the support of our wonderful family and friends, we cannot wait to meet our little marvels.” she sai
